Others Experiences

A few more links regarding other people's experiences with GlitterSniffer:

Chelsea was sold inferior product that took an inordinate amount of time to arrive and was refused a full refund. Pictures of what she ordered, and what she ultimately received, are here.

Julie issues a retraction of her endorsement of GS.

A big thanks to Dez for the information.

  2. Daz-Boy do I ever. With the holiday, work, and this blog I barely have time to sleep. Good thing I'm an insomniac. ;-)

As for writing about all this, be forewarned, it kind of takes over your life.

  3. Hi there -- First off, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to do what you're doing. I sincerely appreciate the efforts you are taking to get the word out about how dangerous GS products potentially are.

Having said that, I have a HUGE amount of issues with GS in general, but in reference to this specific blog, I also had troubles with FaceGlue. Not only did my product look NOTHING like the one shown in the photo, it didn't work at all and, when I approached Lela about it, she refused a refund.

  4. MamaSparkles-I am sorry to hear that you were sold a product that was inferior and that when you tried to address the issue you were rebuffed. I cannot tell you how to get your money back, but I can say that I sent a money request via Paypal as my purchase was outside the 45 day window.

And you're welcome. I truly started this blog to chronicle my attempts to recover a refund, but the focus has shifted to consumer protection as I have researched further.

I still want my money back, but will continue my efforts to get the word out so that no one is injured by these unsafe products.
