Others Experiences
I received an email today from Brittany.
In the email Brittany disclosed that she was having issues getting her photo removed from the GlitterSniffer website. She asked for it's removal and was told that it would not be removed until she signed a contract stating that she would "stop talking shit about me". The header on the email states it came from GlitterSnifferCosmetics@gmail.com and shows Lela Warren as the name.

Apologies for the poor editing. My Photoshop is not cooperating so I have to use Paint.
Brittany states that she is contacting GS today to request a refund for her recalled pigments.

She states "you're crazy if you think I'm hard up for money" and yet she cannot give the donated money to the charities and when people make disputes on Paypal, she gives them a range of excuses from she was sick in the hospital, she needs surgery, she ran out of gas, she got a flat tire and the best one ever, she can't afford to buy her son diapers! Which one is it?
ReplyDeleteDez-To be fair, the email exchange was back in September, before the current unpleasantness. Perhaps she had money at that time?

This all happened before shit really hit the fan, and I was one of those people who got chewed out by old-er regulars for calling Lela out. So I left before things got real bad.
ReplyDeleteDez, as GSC stated, this happened in Septemeber but at this time she was doing all these sales because she needed money..but I cant vouch if she had or did not have money. My guess, she didnt. There is no telling how much money she has spent sending out "free" gifts & extras to make up for "lost" packages. As I told one person, she was/is putting band-aides on body cast sized problems.
Also, it would be even more helpful if you checked out the notes link because I discussed parts of the email more in-depth.

ReplyDeleteBrittany-But the thing is, when you research GS most of the reviews are effusive. Even now they are still at the top of the Google search list. I'm not sure that research would have helped in this case.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear that you received a reply. Lela quit replying to me about a week ago and I have not received a response to my money request. I hope things work out better for you. Keep me up to date please.
Your right about the researching & even had I emailed..I would have more than likely gotten lied to anyways. I'm surprised Lela hasn't sent a "Cease & Desist" letter to all those posting the negative reviews like so many other fraudulent companies have.
ReplyDeleteI will make sure to keep you posted; I have emailed, requested money via paypal, contacted paypal & filed several bad reports on her at different places like the BBB.
It would have been around late October/early November when she made the excuses I listed above. A friend of mine was lied to at least four times and decided to dispute. When she did dispute, she got a bunch of private messages asking how she could do that when Lela couldn't even afford diapers for her son. I also know she sent a ton of "extras" when my friend finally did receive her order. Doubles of everything, at least and collections and products she never ordered. If she suddenly went broke in a month to two month's time, it's because she wasn't doing business the way she should have and was having to make up for it by sending extra product and expedited shipping. This was before the December mania with all the custom collections. She said she was doing the custom collections because she needed the money.
