Labeling

The 80's collection, made using non FDA approved soap dyes. GlitterSniffer has claimed that all of these were listed with the disclaimer that they were not approved for eye use. This screenshot tells a different story. You can read a full account of the situation here.
I do not, at this time, have information regarding the labeling of the individual products, and I will not speculate as this screenshot does not include an unobstructed view of the product. I have asked for followup information, or should anyone have pictures of their products containing soap dye and their labels and wish to share you can feel free to contact me.

I am not disclosing whose screenshot this is as I am waiting for permission to release that information, but I was already given permission to publish.

1/3/11 ETA: Edited to change the name of the collection. It was the 80's collection, not the neon collection.

  1. I still have my original soap dye 80's collection, though they are from before the revamp. They're completely unlabeled.

  2. Eplefe-If possible, I would like to have pictures of them not being labeled. I would really appreciate it.

  3. Nothing this company ever sold, before or after the revamp, was labelled.. you were lucky if it even had the pigment name on it. I don't know anyone who bought it, but it would be interesting to see if she put warning labels on the glow in the dark collection. She did warn people on the FB page that it was a 'use at your own risk' situation but I'm sure legally she would've had to label them as such as well.

  4. Blu-It's true. Legally she had to attach a warning to the label. I would be interested to see any packaging on that collection.

  5. There are NOT any waring lables attached to the "Glow in the Dark" collection. They dont even have any labels on them anywhere. and no paper warning came with them.

  8. MegryanC-Thank you. Please include all the usual stuff-anonynity, publishing rights, etc, and, if it's not too mauch to ask, can you let em know if the listing was labeled as "At Your Own Risk" (If you bought this on Etsy you can go back to the purchase and view it and your receipt as well.)? I'd also be curios to know if it came with an ingredient list included. Thanks!
