Child Safety

I contacted PIRGIM, a public interest group based in Michigan that handles issues involving child safety, and Kids in Danger, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting children by improving children's product safety.

I outlined the issue and included a link to the Little Girls Kit and the recall list. I also pointed out the following comment on the product, which illustrates that it was indeed intended for children (edited to remove identifying information and Facebook HTML):

I have screenshots of both the product and the comment should either of them be removed from the site.

  1. I'm a mother with three little girls and barring my bad experiences, would have purchased this for my daughters. I was already not receiving things so I'm glad I didn't waste anymore money. I'm upset enough about the recalled pinks. I put that on my children! And to think she put this collection out, specifically for children, knowing it was unsafe. Makes me want to tear my hair out.
If her negligence had caused my children any damage... I don't even want to think about it. From a parents standpoint, thank you for putting this out there. I just hope and pray no children have been hurt by her stupidity and that none will be.

  2. Dez-This post and The Spotted Box post have really unnerved me. It makes my wanting a refund seem so trivial. I am glad that your children did not have any ill effects from the use of GS products.
